Troubleshooting Guide

This guide is designed to help you determine what kind of issue you are experiencing with your myTop, take you through common solutions, and, if necessary, help you enter a trouble ticket with all the preliminary information we need to get your issue resolved as quickly as possible.

*This troubleshooting guide only applies to myTop made from 2017 to present. The current myTop team did not manufacture the myTop made before 2017 and do not have replacement parts or ability to service them.

Some normal amount of wear and tear is to be expected with vinyl window that are folded and unfolded regularly.
If you believe, your scratch it beyond normal wear and tear, please provide these two pictures with your ticket so we see the extent of the issue.

A little grease or dirt on the vehicle can sometimes cause an issue with the velcro not adhering. If this happens, it's very easy to fix by replacing the velcro strip with a new strip of velcro.
Remove section which isn’t adhering to the vehicle, clean section of vehicle thoroughly with alcohol, let dry, apply new velcro.
